Established in 1969 by Kissas Lambros, this artisanal Greek feta is a celebration of tradition. The original creamery in the mountains of Argithea produced cheese by hand, heating milk over a wood fire. Today, production has moved to Mouzaki to meet demand, but the commitment to quality remains.
This feta is matured in oak barrels for two months, resulting in a firm, compact cheese with a rich, complex flavor. It has a fresh, slightly acidic taste with a pleasant salty finish and notes of wild herbs.
