Shipping Policy

By selecting shipping to an area outside of the Comox Valley, Campbell River and Qualicum and all areas between these location, you agree to be responsible for the the product once the product is handed off to the shipping agent (UPS, Fedex, local courier). Laliberté Cheese Co is not responsible for the product arriving at the destination at a certain temperature and the purchaser acknowledges that the product is not being shipped in a cold transport. The buyer acknowledges that the product is being shipped in an insulated package with ice packs that are intended to keep the product at 4 degrees Celsius or below. The buyer acknowledges that Laliberté Cheese Co cannot guarantee that the product will arrive at a temperature of 4 degrees and below, or that this temperature was maintained during shipping. The responsibility of the product lies solely with the buyer. 

Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt. All claims must be filed within 48 hours of receipt. If an issue/problem has occurred because of a mistake on our end, we will take care of it immediately. 

We are not responsible and will not be able to issue refunds for the following claims:

  1. Incorrect addresses

  2. Shipments to P.O boxes

  3. Shipments to apartment buildings with no concierge. The package will be left at the address and we are not responsible for additional delays related to this or negative impacts on the perishable goods. 

  4. Delayed deliveries due to weather or other "Acts of God". We insulate our packages for up to 3 days travel time (except in the warmer months). We select shipping options for Overnight, 1-day & 2-day shipping. We are not responsible for delays in shipping beyond the planned shipment window. By continuing with your purchase you agree that you will not hold or an of it's affiliates responsible for these shipping delays. By completing the purchase and selecting shipping or delivery outside of our direct delivery area (Comox Valley, Campbell River, Qualicum) you agree to not hold or any affiliates responsible for a product that is not delivered below 4 degrees Celsius. 

  5. Unopened shipments 

  6. Gift shipments sent to recipients who are out of town or otherwise unavailable to receive their shipment. Please notify recipient of the pending arrival of perishables. We ship as soon as we are able to, unless a customer leaves us a note at checkout or emails us right after placing the order to make other arrangements.

  7. Items that have been discarded or consumed.


We cannot guarantee delivery for specific dates but we can do our best. If you need special shipping arrangements, please email us as soon as you place your order and we will do our best to make it happen. 

Return Policy
We do not offer returns on any products in our store. If there is a mistake with an item you ordered on our end, we will offer a refund or credit. Due to food safety concerns, we cannot accept any returns.
